How do we qualify for Nationals?

If you finish in the top spot at the end of the year, you’re going straight to Las Vegas—it’s that easy. No jumping through hoops, no extra qualifiers, and no playing in tournament after tournament. Perform well during the season and earn your spot at Nationals, simple as that.

What are my chances of making it to Nationals?

Your odds of winning a free trip to the USA Pool League National Championships in Las Vegas is greater than any other pool league in the country. At a minimum, 1 out of every 12 teams earns a paid trip to Nationals, giving our players some of the best odds in the game to compete on the biggest stage.

How is this different from other leagues?

Unlike many other leagues that require multiple qualifiers, added tournaments, or complicated paths to Nationals, USA Pool League keeps it simple and fair. Your regular-season performance matters most—finish on top and you’re in. You compete only with teams that play in the same location and day, giving everyone a fair shot. Combined with higher Nationals representation, transparent funding, and Fargo-based races, our focus is on giving players the best chance to compete, not making them jump through extra hoops.

Why does each match cost $13?

We charge $13 per match to help support our players beyond just weekly league play. While this may be slightly higher than some other leagues, this allows us to send more teams and singles to the USA Pool League National Championship in Las Vegas.

Where does the match fee money go?

Out of the $65 total for a team of five, $40 goes straight into our players fund. This fund is dedicated to creating more opportunities for our players to compete at a higher level.

How transparent are you with league funds?

We believe in being completely open about where the money goes. Over 95% of all funds are reinvested directly back into the players, helping cover things like travel to competitions, jerseys, t-shirts, trophies, and other player-focused expenses. Our goal is simple: support our players and grow opportunities for everyone involved. What rating system do you use?

USA Pool League uses Fargo-based races for all matches. FargoRate is a widely used, data-driven system that helps ensure fair and competitive matchups.

What if I don’t have a Fargo rating?

No worries at all! If you don’t have a Fargo rating yet, we can use your APA or TAP rating and convert it into a starter Fargo rating so you can jump right in and play.
